We've had numerous features roll out this week and a new one just came in last night so this post will be a compilation of all the updates in one place.
Secondary Market Royalties!
One of the most long awaited features for artists is finally live! With the current fee structure NFT Showroom takes a 10% commission fee on the first sale and now when something is sold on the secondary market the fee will be split 5% for NFT Showroom and 5% for the artists! The artist will get a notification of secondary sales.
Activity feed
We have also introduced an activity feed that shows recent sales which adds another fun way to discover content, this will be particularly useful when we introduce bidding:
MP4 support
This week also had the rollout of MP4 support which was another highly requested feature! Artists can upload MP4s up to 100 MB with sound in any aspect ratio they choose.
Increased file size for still images and GIFS
The size has increased from 10 MB to 30 MB for still images and GIFS allowing artists to make higher quality uploads.
TX history and Notifications
Both of these were introduced this week and refined a bit so now both artists and collectors have a better control and understanding of their transactions!
