Lately,
you may have noticed.
I've been sharing new artworks and displaying them with other pieces I've produced in the past; pieces that all help make up entire collections or help shed light on a specific theme.
Today I'm piecing together the artwork intended to be used as illustrations for a writing project I've had planned for many months.
I'd really like to be able to share a lengthy, fully illustrated work of fiction with you folks here. The only obstacle in my way is the fact achieving what I have in mind takes a lot of time; it's a lot of work. I'm not interested in rushing because being in a hurry typically leads to cut corners. Offering short chapters because I spent too much time on the art, or providing cheesy art to go along with a long chapter; that's not how I want this project to go down.
So
I have a storyline in mind.
Slowly and steadily, I've been producing the illustrations.
At the same time, I have a blog to maintain (don't we all). The blog requires fresh, new and unrelated content, daily.
As I had said in a previous post awhile back, there actually is a method to this madness here @NoNamesLeftToUse, and multitasking is required in order to achieve my goals. There's no point in going silent for a few weeks or months, work on one project while I'm away, then come back and expect my viewership/readership, friends, fans and following to still be here to enjoy what I have to offer. To me, this all feels like one big balancing act; every step is more important than the last.
Anyway
Enough about me and my thought process.
On with the show.

Sitting on a Cloud of Steps is one of my most popular pieces, according to the folks who've enjoyed it. That's where my story begins. And now, you know.
The rest won't make much sense until the story begins to unfold. The names of the images don't tie into the storyline.

Not many noticed the ghostly figures within Supper Time at the time of release but I insist, they're in there.

Twenty-four Images Complete
So far...
That collection alone amounts to literally hundreds of hours worth of work, and I'm nowhere near complete. As I envision the completed product, in book format, with images on the left side of the book and the words to the right, with more than two hundred pages; I know I have a long way to go.
I know I'll get there, eventually. That's the plan anyway, and I'm sticking to my guns.
I hope you've enjoyed this little show.
Have a nice day.

Important unrelated message:
@anomadsoul and @blocktrades have a contest in the works that you might be interested in. I know many of you out there who follow my blog and receive my support in the form of upvotes are still struggling to gain traction on this platform. Follow this link and all directions contained within:

Maybe you'll be lucky enough to be one the eight winners who will receive a few @blocktrades votes for an entire month. Those votes could help you powerup your accounts and the added visibility could go a long way in helping you find success here. Do not delay!
