Busy like a bee, I think I'll scribble
Hello once again! I was up till 2+ a.m. animating one of those more serious projects that I'll never post on Steem... DOH!As messy as sketching is for me, I find it's the very best way to draft up concepts before finishing up in illustrator. I need to make myself simplify my ideas in order to save time and hassle. Over-complication is an extremely bad habit I need to break.

Work is picking up and if all of my job bids are approved, I'm going to be extremely bogged down. Where were these guys when I was barely getting by last fall? XD
So anyway, a cool development is that (if the project gets funded) I'll have an educational product to work on — which will yield royalty checks with each sale. Hopefully it will work out as I could really use passive income.
It's time for my lame sketches!
I need to stress once again that I'm hoping to make a crypto-related Godzilla parody. On a side note: I always get asked, "Why don't you have female characters?". The answer is simple. I can't do female voice overs and I have zero budget. Even if I had money right now, hiring someone means managing them and possibly firing them if they're not up to par. I really don't like the insane drama that this can bring.

I'm not saying I'll never have a female character, in fact, Cleopatra made an appearance in one of my earlier animations and I did manage to do an extremely bad impression.
So basically, since I'll never find a pro or semi-pro female voice artist who likes my stupid cartoons enough to work for free, I'm stuck with male characters... And don't even talk about splitting profits when my last 40+ hour animation only made $15 in Steem ;D

Thanks for dropping by!
Hopefully I'll finish mini-Godziller for my next post!
