During my trip to Guatemala I went to visit the Museum located on the Kaminaljuyú site of Anthropology and Ethnology of Zone 13 in the heart of downtown Guatemala. Its name means "hill of the dead" and the largest Mayan colony in the pre-classic period with about 50,000 inhabitants. It is not a very large museum, this space several Mayan pieces of this city are protected. They also offer different exhibitions in the service of Guatemalans. It was a very interesting and enriching visit, I was able to learn about Guatemalan art, the way it lived and how it defended itself.
Durante mi viaje a Guatemala fui a visitar el Museo ubicado en el sitio Kaminaljuyú de Antropología y Etnología de la Zona 13 en el corazón del centro de Guatemala. Su nombre significa "cerro de los muertos" y la colonia maya más grande del período preclásico con unos 50.000 habitantes. No es un museo muy grande, en este espacio se resguardan varias piezas mayas de esta ciudad. También ofrecen diferentes exposiciones al servicio de los guatemaltecos. Fue una visita muy interesante y enriquecedora, pude conocer el arte guatemalteco, la forma en que vivía y como se defendía.
