Cat people are individuals that love cats, right? Right. Well, almost right.
There is another meaning for that expression, at least for my personal vocabulary. (Yes, everyone of us has a personal vocabulary where expressions, phraseology and idioms find their richest definition meeting our personal history and experience. That's how it works. Period.) :)
I just mean that when I think to "cat people" I can't not think of an old movie (two old movies, actually) called precisely "Cat people". Yes, you have to watch the movie - at least the latest - to understand what kind of people are "cat people" according to that not so common meaning.
Anyway, this post is just to show to you some artworks I did in the past years with some kind of cats as subject. They are mostly fantastic cats.
I painted many other cats, but can't find the pics of the older paintings and drawings, at the moment.
Cats, dogs, fishes and other animals are always in my art anyway.
