Narration, in my humble opinion, is the natural way our thinking works. We learn things creating and knowing stories. Music and Literature were born to remember and transmit knowledge, in the Western civilization, it's a known thing. But now I'm not talking about the Greek roots of the western culture. I'm talking of a genetic trait of our species.
This theory is based on the work of Jerome Bruner, an American psychologist that worked and wrote about the Psychology of Learning. Another (indirect) source can be found in the last books of Gaston Bachelard and in the controversial theory of Julian Jaynes. I'll write a specific post about this another time.
Today I am just watching this artwork of mine (pic below), and seeing so many nonverbal stories inside it. But I'm not a writer. I can't reduce to words these stories. ;)
