Even in this modern time people hide behind a mask!
An emotional mask, the kind of mask we often wear when we feel fear!
If we are unsure of our own powers we might wear the mask of a bully.
If we feel that the world does not love us, we might hide behind a mask of anger.
Just a few examples of why masks are worn in time of age.
While I would always say never to wear a mask, I am guilty of wearing one often myself.
Not because I want to hide who I am but because I am often really shy! That was the inspiration for me to make this mask! The longer I am being here on Steemit, the more I dare to take of my mask!
There are a few pratical reasons why we should shed our masks!
To be able to live into our potential we have to bring all of who we are to what we do!
Wearing masks is exhausting and taking them off can bring a lot of relief. You start with one mask and end with six and while doing so you start to forget who you really are!
By wearing a mask we hide who are and by that we cut part of ourself away. Taking the mask of forces you to heal and become whole again! To be whole again we have to put everything on the table, every part of us!
The mask might be the prettiest thing you have ever seen, but is it worth to hide your own true beauty?
