Good morning lovely people. This is the morning view I am enjoying right now. One of the many.
After yesterday's journey through the German Republic
and my safe arrival in the east of Germany, I got picked up by a black Cabrio (yay!) and got welcomed by lovely people, faboulus pizza and sparkling wine of course.
Action and island construction is already ongoing since one week and there was still plenty of things to do from evening to late night so we moved tents, arranged our inventory and cut some wood to prepare some benches.

And although this place looks so harmonious and peaceful
It just indicates the calm before the storm as starting with tomorrow this still empty land of grass will be filled by hundreds of tents, thousands of young people and a lot of life. Splash!20 is coming soon!

Hurray! Ich bin heil im Osten der Republik angekommen. Sachsen-Anhalt hier bin ich wieder!
Nach einer halben Tagestour durch deutsche Lande wurde ich am Bahnhof in Gräfenhainichen von positiv strahlender Energie und einem schwarzen Cabrio abgeholt. (First Class :D)
Danach könnte ich noch mehr herzliche Menschen in die Arme schließen und wurde mit Pizza, Sekt und Aktion begrüßt.
Hier auf Ferropolis sind einige Maker schon seit ner Woche am werkeln und jetzt mittlerweile einen Tag vor dem Splash! sind die Vorbereitung in vollem Gange.
Es wird geschraubt und gesägt. Inseln werden zusammengebaut, Zelte bewegt und Inventar verschoben.
So in der Art wird das heute noch weitergehen damit wir auf die ab morgen eintrudelden Menschenmassen gewappnet sind. Mal gucken welche Abenteuer uns heute noch erwarten!
Dieses Jahr sind wir in Mitten des Campingplatzes vertreten. Im Hintergrund sieht man einen Teil der Geschichte Deutschlands.
Die gigantischen Kräne der Braunkohle Tagesstätte in Ferropolis, der Stadt aus Eisen.
