The days we got woken up by the lovely sound of singing birds are over. From now on we're going to get greeted by blasting rap music and growling voices.
Nevertheless, I started this beautiful Friday morning facing the still asleep tides of the orange-coloured lake standing on top of one our floating islands. Jumping.
Last night I got the honour of watching over our islands during the night, defending them from illegal trespassers.
Besides one girl losing her phone in the endless waters, the night happened to be quite peaceful. And the perfect spot for taking a morning swim!

Yesterday's arriving masses stood kilometers long in the burning sun to arrive on their beloved camping site.

This are our yesterday's objectives:
Besides having new neighbors we built a new pier
And pinned floating devices under our hexagonal island construction to let it float it in the next step
Furthermore, we are constantly improving the ambiente
Here in Ferropolis, money lies straight on the streets, one does just have to squat to pick up a quarter Euro after a quarter Euro. All hail the German Pfand system!
We managed to earn 35€ simply by returning the first treasure-hunt collection back to the discounter today morning.

Ein Sprung ins kalte Nass während sich die ersten Sonnenstrahlen orangerot im morgendlich ruhigen Wasser spiegeln gefolgt von ein paar Bahnen zwischen Schilf und frisch gebauten Steg.

Gestern Nacht hatte ich die ehrenvolle Aufgabe unsere schwimmende Insel des Nachts gegen Eindringlinge zu schützen.
So eine Nacht auf hoher See zu verbringen ist ein must-do Erlebnis und bis auf eine kleine persönliche Katastrophe einer Festivalgängerin deren Handy baden gegangen ist, verlief die Nacht ganz friedvoll.
Gestern fand die Ankunft und die Pre-Party des Splash!20 statt. Die festivalwütigen Menschenmassen standen sich bei brühender Hitze Kilometer langen die Beine in den Bauch.
Ich war froh nicht in ihren Reihen zu sein.
Nach Eintrudeln unserer neuen, sehr einsichtigen Nachbarn in unser Camp haben wir die erste Feuerprobe erfolgreich überstanden.
Es ist keiner zu Schaden gekommen und wir haben noch ein paar Projekte weiterführen können.
Die hexagonale Inselkonstruktion hat als Auftriebskörper fungierende Maurerkübel verpasst bekommen, ein neuer Steg für den Gang an die Insel wurde fertiggestellt und das Ambiente wird stetig verbessert.
