Aerial Landscape from a Starcraft is a digitally enhanced photograph of an abstract mixed media painting that I did of a starship hovering over the moon. This painting features the 'bold and bright colours and patterns' of the Fauvism style as described by @aksinya in her post for the FAUVISM+LANDSCAPE ArtStyleArt7 contest.
I have always been inspired by the Fauvist painter VanGogh and think that this painting is a modern interpretation and representation of his 'wildbeast' style. The subject matter is an aerial lunar landscape seen from a starship which seems to fit in nicely with the theme of the contest.
