State of the arts is proud to present our current initiative on Steemit.
With you our fellow steemians, State of the Arts will use the steemit platform to update, share, and collab both our and your art and creative prowess. We explore the space where the arts and sciences merge. The SOA action plan is to post three times a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—in hopes we can use Experiential Design (we’ll blog more about that later) to expand our vision and your own.
Initiative 1, Mondays: Get-Tot Blog
Our Mad Magazine-esque approach to blogging about the cutting edge, entertainment, and satire will begin the week off on Mondays. In the place where the Science of “Creative Prowess” meets social change, amazing things happen. Look around you. Everything you see begins on the proverbial drawing table. With a lot happening in the world from bitcoin,
Donald Trump, the upcoming Olympics, we keep you “well informed” through the SOA lens
Initiative 2, Wednesdays: Phylum
Phylum is a graphic novel currently under production here at State of the Arts. In a nutshell, here on Wednesdays, your SteemIt participation, fan art, feedback, etc. all play a role. They inform the development and direction that things take (or don’t take for that matter) as thread series and story arcs move along. Revealing all updates FIRST on Steemit, SOA’s Phylum uses fantasy to explore the space where the arts and sciences merge—where the impossible becomes possible.
Initiative 3, Fridays Weekly art-sharing and contests
Our third initiative directly involves all creatives. We are looking to link innovative minds and the community through weekly arts sharing and contests. Prizes will vary from cryptocurrencys to promotional features. Of course all winners will get shout outs. To join our first weekly contest scheduled to post February 9th, tag @stateofthearts and/or email your artwork and a brief explanation to Stateofthearts02@gmail.com. We want to unite “right brain” creatives and “left-brain” doers and give people the opportunity to have their creative prowess seen and heard by the community. Check back for more details during the lead up to next week.
