Pay attention to when the clock reads 11:11. It is a sign that you are on the right path.
This painting was one of the first paintings I did when I decided to take art seriously. I used to love Jean Micheal Basquiat. I don't really channel his style anymore because it was emotionally draining. I used to cause myself to feel strung out to successfully get imagery like him. Sounds crazy but thats what art is.
I didn't know what an actual "false rib" was when I wrote that on each rib in the picture. I would imagine the text "false rib" on the "true ribs" is a metaphor for something else.
Maybe it has to do with how truth can be subjective and can be found from looking within. Or maybe is has to do with the history of humankind on earth being falsified to suppress consciousness. I didn't know what "consciousness" was at the time of making this, but with art and other spiritual endeavors, they can work retroactively, independent of time.
I like this orange painting.
