This Is my version of the Greek mythological creature Lamia. In the myth, Lamia is a mistress of the god Zeus. Zeus's wife isn't really having that so she kills Lamia's children and turns her into a child eating demon.
I imagine a scenario taking place in a small logging town and those rascally kids just keep disappearing. Short story anyone?
