On my last post I talked about building a tiny detailed GunPla kit in the Real Grade line. Before I got to build my first RG, though, I had a shot at building a Perfect Grade kit. In contrast to an RG, PGs are 1/60 scale, they're more than a foot high when built. Detail wise, these kits are amazing, complete with very detailed inner frame some with "working" pistons. The downside to this grade I think is the articulation and proportion, maybe because of the size, Bandai could not maintain the original proportions of the mobile suit so that the kit could support it's structure this leads to to it not having amazing articulations unlike most MGs. Plus with all those parts, it takes a lot of time to build them. I've built two PGs so far and their the only kits I've straight built that took me more than a day to finish, I even had to "create" some help to help me finish my first one, the Strike Rouge. All in all, the PGs are great kits, but I think its too much calling them "Perfect" grades.
