Alohive!
First post here on the Hive must say I'm pleased things turned out this way. Straying from the big daddy's and moneys XD. I plan to be posting here on a more steady and constant basis. Never been a fan of blogging or expressing myself on the internets, but I do aim to have a sort of journal or registry of what I'm creating/working on... or better the ideas and visions that cross my mind.
I've been working on an animated commission for the past 2 weeks. I've managed to do 42 seconds, which cover approx a half of the commission. I've used an application called opentooz. An opensource #foss software which is used by some big projects and studios like... ghibli... yes that ghibli and others big papas of the japanimation industry... that being said I must express that, at least on my end... a 10+ year old laptop that suffered an accident involving beer and a sleepy self, it's been super glitchy and buggy. Crash after crash... and the worst is not the crashes but the fact that sometimes the software behaves super nasty and it destroys the drawings when you perform something so trivial like a ctrl-z undo action. So imagine yours truly all hyped and immersed into the animation, making after various trials and errors a - somewhat good drawing and suddenly, by performing my bestofriendo the ctrl-z... the drawing gets all messed up like... really messed up... Frustration after frustration the bread n butter for me when using this software. But I'm resilient and stubborn. Managed to tolerate the crashes and and be zen patient and just draw and re-draw things.
Anyway.
Here's the 42 secs video(sorry no youtube):

I planed to post some little homage to @thilah first... but I haven't had the time :( Soon I will make that post though. I have in mind an animation featuring her self character, that chibi that is in her profile pic and of course a "laksdlfkasdlkb/not" text LOL. It's gonna be quite nice. ;)
Also gonna post this full animation when finished.
edit
I added this gif of the last part of the 42 secs. In case someone is curious...
