JIJI : Drawn in Takuri's Art style
2 - Days ago
It was a peaceful night that day, i was just enjoying life as usual. Drawing the OC waifu, i must complete this waifu! However plans didn't go as planned that night as i was pinged in the Hiveph discord server.
I was wondering what it was, and there i see around 5-6 people in the VC. Actually looking back, there were always people in the Voice-channels every night. *Very Awesome!
Alas, being pinged by some peeps in the channel asking if i want to hang out and introduce myself.
We talked about:

Where it all began
It was around 11Pm, i was getting sleepy. After laughing our asses off and begging @adamada to share some of his wealth because he a Rich boy now.
Me and Jiji were teaming up. Being close in age and had the same hobbies, we decided to goof around playing with our normal and immoral sense of humor.
As midnight was fast approaching, Jiji mentioned if i could draw her OC in my Art style. I was like ehh sure.
And here we are.
Reference
Sketch
Sketch and Reach
After looking then thinking really hard, i managed to create a decent sketch to help me plan what i want to draw. Basing it heavily on the reference, i want to capture the cuteness and preserve as much details as possible.
Trying to match the:
- Hair
- Clothing
- Coloring
- Expression
- Cute DINO HAT!
I also decided to give the dino hat some arms to give extra flare to the hair. Nothing like some hair accessories to give the art some pop As the Pink dino contrast itself with the grayish brown hair.
Outline
Lines, its all about the LINES!
A simple drawing requires less lines, in general Cartoons Pale in comparison when side by side to Anime. However some could say, with less there is more.
Both in expression and the time it takes.
With this simple cute cartoon style, i was able to draw from start to finish within 6hrs.
*Meanwhile the OCD waifu, It has been 3-weeks and im only 40% Complete. Yohohoho!
Taking inspiration from Jiji's drawing and adjusting the reference to make it more lively. I was able to bring out a bombastic appeal.
"A drawing that Screams Joy and Happiness!"
Base Coloring
Colors le Mua
The base colors were simple and all i had to do was use the colors already present in the original drawing and just transfer it to my color pallet. Overall the color choice made by @jijisaurart was already Amazing! Very good solid colors and they complement each other very well.

Altogether Very noice, i decided to add some of my own and adjust only by a little to give it more Oomph.
Shading
I AM DARKNESS, FEAR ME!
For the shading, i just took the base colors and adjusted the RGB settings by a little bit. Making it darker and changing the Hue so that the original base colors POP out. Overall i was already satified on this stage, BUT!
I WANTED TO CHALLENGE MYSELF!
As Such i continued on working, but before that here are the colors.

Anyways. After pushing myself, Kewk you can see to the Lower left what time i finished. (0:31 Am)
No problem, im used to this especially since the folks who commission me are on the other side of the globe. (NO SLEEP FOR ME) + (PURE TORTURE!)

After some tinkering, i arrive with these colors intact. I wanted to add more but i didn't blend well. Welp i guess that's about it for drawing this cute monstrosity, i hope you enjoyed the process.
Also Sadly there was no Gradient's Sadge. (Because using Gradients in Adobe Animate is Madness!)
