Artzone is proud to announce its first photography contest for the steemit community, with a prize pool of 50 STEEM!!!
It's been now few months that the @artzone curators have been very impressed with the quality of the photos on steemit, and we thought it was time to dedicate a day per week just for photography.Because we can't miss out on all these amazing shots, carefully crafted by our steemians artists, we decided to have our curators on the look out for the best photos on steemit.
It just show that we have reached enough traction to diversify ourselves and to reach to a new audience.
To celebrate that milestone, we decided to do a contest, with once again very simple rules!
The theme of the contest is : "Monochrome"
If you are not familiar with the term "monochrome photography", it's a photography where each position on an image can record and show a different amount of light, but not a different hue.
It includes all forms of black-and-white photography, which produce images containing tones of neutral grey ranging from black to white.
Other hues besides grey, such as sepia, cyan or brown can also be used in monochrome photography.In the contemporary world, monochrome photography is mostly used for artistic purposes and certain technical imaging applications, rather than for visually accurate reproduction of scenes. source wiki
