The structure you see here occurred as unexpected side-effect and spin-off from a project exploring geometric possibilities to widen the range of dimensioning by splitting up elements to a network of smaller units.
Insufficient stability was again recognized as being paralleled by dynamic potential. By getting involved in the structural system by compressing the interactive sculpture is changing its shape helically while slight body movements lead to extent rotational transformations.
Additionally, the linear structure was combined with EL-Wires to allow illumination. A video will be published quite soon so you can see its dynamics with your own eyes, ..it's not that easy to explain :)
