There has been recent increase in the production of arms the world over and there is evidence of threat to global peace and in the same vane, the effects of climate change due to our negative activities on the environment as well as natural cause do pose a more serious threat to our very existence more than conflicts and wars. As such we need to rise up and join the global campaign for various governments to increase their commitments to contribute in all aspects in the fight to off-set the effects of climate change as it affects all of us.
The time to act is now for it is just by our door steps, and we are already sinking in it gently and gradually.
