Hello guys hope all of you are doing good.
Let’s get straight down to the story.
The Story:
The animus is still in use. This time a company named Helix is using it. The story begins after master assassin Shay betrays the brotherhood and assassinated Arno’s father. Then and there a gentleman by the name Francois De La Serre took him in. Later we find that he was the Grandmaster of the Templar order with a beautiful daughter named Elise. She and Arno fell for each other and were the best of friends. There were rumours among the officials about a group of people who were out to get De La Serre. On the fateful night of the party he was assassinated by the king of beggars and a former royal accountant. Arno was falsely accused for the murder of De La Serre and was jailed, soon to swing. There he finds his father’s best friend Bellec. Bellec finds the watch that he had given to Arno’s father. Later he introduces the young man to the leader of the League of Assassins Mirabou.
Arno finds the responsible officials through his assigned missions one after the other slowly deconstructing their plans by become a true and a full fledged assassin.
A lot of murders were committed during this time in France. The young assassin’s thirst for the culprits led him to solve one such murder where a member of the assassin cult was assassinated.
He later finds that Bellec had betrayed the brotherhood and had killed Mirabou, Arno’s mentor and kills him then and there. His conversation with Bellec was an interesting one.
Mirabou was slandered publicly as he was a spokesperson but was give an assassin’s burial.
He later found a lot of high ranking officials were associates in the crime.
He put each one to their eternal slumber and in their memories he found Germain guilty.
The brotherhood later finds Arno obsessed with the killer of the templar grandmaster as he did not notify them about the ongoings of the Templar regime and took action by his own. Therefore they decided to ban him from the brotherhood of France.
He then turn to alcohol and gets himself wasted.
Later he was found by Elise outside the manor he was getting drunk the night before.
Then this Templar assassin duo worked their way up and went up close and personal with Robespierre who was a very talented person in his youth.
They learn the whereabouts of Germain, the master mind, the main culprit of it all. This was this man for whom the King of France was executed publicly(in the game).
Germain made the templars steal the food carriages that were suppose to go to the people living in slumbers and accused the nobles of hoarding then. This caused a massive revolt and mass confusion among the people of low status. This caused the revolution which helped him seize the role of Templar grandmaster and with the king gone and the power of the orb he was invincible.
Love was lost but he had eliminated the threat.
2 years later Arno returns tor he catacombs where he had killed Germain with Napoleon Bona Parte. The remains of Germain were scattered with his skull amid a pile of skulls therefore Abstergo would never find it. I love the Assassin’s creed saga and overall I would give it a solid 8.
Combat:
Pretty simple and easy to use. No skill gap as there are only 2 buttons for attack and parry and no reload button(auto reloads once mag is empty). A wide variety od usable items like smoke bombs and money pouch come in handy where fighting in streets with public. The finishers are the one to look out for. Using the musket can be difficult for new players. I would give it a 7.5.
Characters:
Many real characters and events from history are used in assassin’s creed games making this game top tier for history/game fanatics. I am no fanatic but do like history and historical figures. I give it an 8.5.
Scenery:
One of the best aspects of the game is the synchronise option. It shows the entire neighbourhood and it’s surrounding areas in it’s full glory. The swan dive also shows an equally mesmerising view. I give it a 9.5. For people who like the old generation’s or retro type building and fashion p, this would be a treat for their eyes.
Glitches:
Unfortunately this assassin’s creed game is said to contain the most bug form the other titles of the series. I myself found it twice where the game broke and not to mention the movement glitches where the way the character does not move the way I want it to. This did make the game up unenjoyable for me.
Costumes:
The legendary outfit of Altaïr Ibn La’Ahad the Syrian master assassin and Ezio Auditore da Firenze the Italian master assassin is the I looked for.
These are hands down the best outfits in the assassin’s creed game in my opinion. Then comes Conner’s outfit. I give it a 10 hands down.
Weapon/Arsenal:
As mentioned before, there is a wide variety of weapon and useable items in the game. There is gas grenade, money pouch, smoke bomb, phantom blade, berserker blade, firecracker, pistol and musket. There are many pistol and musket with varying stats.
The price is proportional to the stats. Then comes the attire. Here the players can wear different cloth for unique passive ability.
The hood grants more eagle vision range, prolonged duration and increased percentage of money picked when looted. Boots which makes less sound when running.
Waist pouch holds more useable and throwable items . Chest armour and pants grants hp and other ability.
Swords with unique stats.
Best of all, the hidden blade.
Overall it’s an 8.
Skill earning mission:
Only after playing certain story missions certain skills are unlocked which later can be bought through skill points. Playing certain main story or side mission grants the player skill points. I give it a 7.
