I had my first out-of-body experience around the year 2000, I've been having out-of-body experiences ever since.
I was actually practising techniques to lucid dream as I'd had lucid dreams on occasion and wanted to learn how to have them intentionally. So I was trying to keep my mind awake while I fell asleep, I let myself sink down slowly trying not to totally let go and fall asleep. I felt myself sinking deeper and deeper then suddenly I felt kind of fizzy all over, as if I were full of electricity.
Next thing I know I'm floating above my body fully conscious, even more conscious than normal. I found it difficult to move, I floated a little over to the window then I re-entered my body, I drifted out again just hanging in the air above my physical body. It was a wonderful sensation, I was loving what was happening to me, I felt free and full of joy.
When I re-entered my body I woke up amazed at what had happened. I had read about out-of-body experiences so I wasn't scared as I knew what was happening, I never thought it would happen to me but was so glad it did.
Since then I have had many adventures some negative some positive but all just so mind-blowing from the perspective of human on Earth. It has not been an easy journey, out-of-body travel certainly has its challenges however it is just so rewarding and has completely changed the way I look at the world.
