Pink is a Venus color!
Venus transits show your changing values as you work with your relationships and income sources ... and as your needs from both change and evolve. Venus aspects show how you adjust yourself to the demands of a partnership ... or insist that it change to suit you.
They also show how channels of support fluctuate and adjust ... and how your way of handling assets / making purchases / changing your financial choices are affected by the different experiences and requirements you meet as you navigate life.
Venus aspects are "in effect" for about 8 - 10 days after the aspect forms. In real life, however, you may deal with their concerns -- or see events that correlate with their energy show up even a few days beyond that. Sometimes you need even more distance to appreciate what happened -- what changed. Getting sufficient perspective sometimes takes a while. Keep that in mind as you work with this forecast.

What they mean for your relationships and finances
Venus dabbled in Scorpio for a little while already this year ... from September 9 until October 30. Apparently around October 5, something either upset her or scared her ... or maybe some of both -- and she turned retrograde and scuttled back into her home sign Libra for some speedy relief.
That opposition with Uranus in Taurus may have brought some serious upset or disruption or other trauma in your important relationships and sources of materials and supply. Worse than usual perhaps. As long as this lingered, whatever happened may have been memorable. (There's a kind word for it.)
So Venus' transit in Scorpio now may be about picking up the pieces ... or salvaging what's left ... or figuring out some new plans and how to move on from here. Because, sooner or later, you have to. Venus in Scorpio is about purging and rebuilding -- and this time, she's serious. Fortunately, this year there is some terrific, constructive help available for this. So, let's talk about it. We could use some good news.

Your attitude now is serene and unusually stable. Your focus for how you want your relationships to work is realistic and you're ready to do your part for that project. Your decisions about money -- and spending / purchases / possessions -- is an interesting mix of sentimental and practical.
Especially considering that Christmas is only days away, you can still come up with interesting gifts -- or even home-made treats and ideas -- that are meaningful but extremely cost effective. And there's a durability and staying-power behind it all that makes the whole atmosphere particularly poignant and welcome.
It's the kind of memory-building moment that can last much longer than the holiday season -- so you may carry this feeling with you well into the coming year. Pleasure is where you find it -- and right now, it's right at hand. This energy can help strengthen your relationships and stabilize your budget. As a Christmas gift, it may not be glamorous ... but it's hard to turn it down.

Winter Solstice is sure busy this year -- three major events in the sky one after the other. Venus trines Neptune, Mercury joins Jupiter, The Sun moves into Capricorn. If ever there was a setting to invite the Spirit of Christmas into your heart -- this is it.
Even if you're not a Christian, you know the feeling I mean -- one of hope and tolerance and anticipation of a brighter future. It's easy to accept that "things will turn out well" when this energy arrives -- and you won't feel like you're fooling yourself. Your own faith and optimism can help it happen ... so, as they say, don't fight the feeling. It's here to help life get better.
It may be a spiritual / creative fantasy of how things can be and how they should be ... but at least it's a beginning, and you can become part of the momentum. Again, this is a very artistic / creative energy, and it will hang around a while. So see what develops in your creative life -- or work -- or hobbies -- between now and the days following the first of the year.

Improvements in how your relationships work (or maybe improvements in / or the lack of a partner -- depending on earlier choices) bring forward a new set of plans and priorities to greet the new year. This energy refocuses all kinds of assets -- personal / financial / intellectual -- so that they work better for you than has been the case for a while.
A streamlined approach -- having discarded a lot of old baggage and encumbrances -- makes everything more efficient. You'll make better financial choices, too -- and have more partnership resources to work with -- as you line up your coming plans to better support your altered life direction -- the one I've been writing about for years. This is another step on that path -- and it will be productive.

If you've always known there was more to Astrology than Sun Sign material and the three line daily horoscope in the newspaper, climb aboard and follow this blog. You'll find a world of wisdom detailing how you were designed to work with life ... and why you are the way you are -- all in quick-to-read, easy-to-digest-and-remember, written-in-plain-English essays that offer plenty of food for thought.
Little by little, I'm doing a set of articles that talks about all the elements in your horoscope and what they have to say about you. If you "know something" about Astrology -- or know something about your chart placements, that will help you get more from this material.
If you don't ... well, this is one place you can learn. We all have to start somewhere ... because we aren't born knowing this stuff. Meanwhile, if you've never seen your horoscope ... and don't have a clue how to work with it, maybe it's time to find out. There are lots of "chart services" on the internet -- some of whom produce decent, readable charts "for free" and some are so awful and confusing that even I can't read them easily -- and I've worked with charts for decades.
One extremely user-friendly chart site is here: AstroLabe. I recommend them if you want a simple, easy-to-read chart. I think they even give a reasonable little interpretive reading of your horoscope as part of the package. You'll need to know your birth information -- day, month, year, time and geographical place. Without all that your chart will have limited accuracy.
Or, if you want to get serious and really talk about this, upvote this post and start a conversation in the comments section sometime in the next six days from the time of publication. We'll go from there depending on what you want to know.

Questions about any of this? -- Upvote this post and talk to me in comments. It's a terrific way to build value for yourself and the community ... and it will give me ideas of what to write about in future posts. Believe me there is lots to say about the way The Sun, The Moon -- and all the other elements in a horoscope, all the other components of Astrology -- work together to interpret you and your story -- and what it all means to the person you've become.

Although sometimes the background pictures in our visual essays support the topic and text, they don't always. Sometimes the connection is clear. Sometimes it's symbolic and subtle. Sometimes, there's no connection at all.
The scenes depict landscapes and natural features, buildings and wildlife. They were chosen because they show something lovely or interesting ... or simply because the photo appealed to me.
Our spectacular and remarkable planet is changing at astonishing speed. Rarely are these changes for the better. Few people seem to know ... or care ... or have the will and power to do anything about this. It may not be long before the world humans have known and lived in for centuries is forever lost. We certainly won't be able to make repairs as fast as we destroyed it.
So a few years ago I began collecting pictures of the way things were ... and still are for now, a record of the beauty we have while it is still ours to love and honor.
The photos here are part of that collection, with sincere thanks to the artists who saw these moments ... and with their cameras ... preserved them. All of us at Enchanted Spirit are profoundly grateful to them for their generosity and skill ... and for the added grace, depth and dimension their art brings to ours.
