I am relatively new to Steemit, and most of you will not know that I am a professional Astrologer who has been studying Astrology for 25 years and writing and practising the subject since 2010. There are a lot of misconceptions about Astrology, however I know that it works and most of the information about it given to the general public has given the impression that Astrologers, are weird, bohemian, fortune telling folk who don't really live in the real world. You couldn't be further from the truth. Astrology does use some intuition, but it is aso based on the study of human nature against the quantifiable movement of the planets, a study that is over 5000 years old, and Astrologer often have been studying the movement of the planets and perfecting their craft, just as a musician, writer, painter, photographer or any other creative person does.
Most people assume that their Sun sign, determined by the date that they were born under indicates what they are like as a person, but the position of your Sun is only a small part of the story. The time that you were born is arguably much more important, and if you have this information, then a professional Astrologer can work out your Ascendant, the Astrological sign that was rising at the horizon when you were born, and by having this information he or she will be able to determine what will happen to you throughout your life with unerring accuracy. The Sun Sign horoscopes you read across the internet are also determined by the day you were born rather than the time that you were born, and so chances are that you are reading completely the wrong set of interpretations. That's why Astrology over the years has got such a bad name. I want to correct this perception of Astrology not being accurate, and set the record straight...
