NASA released a photo of the Chandra X-ray Telescope on a website where the remaining material from the supernova explosion was recorded in different colors.
While the photo shows silicone red, sulfur yellow, calcium green and iron purple colors, it seems that the blast spread itself in blue waves from the center to the outer lines.
Examination of the supernova remnants of X-ray telescopes like Chandra is of great importance. These bursts can be displayed in the X-ray spectrum in the most powerful way, even after millions of years have passed since millions of degrees.
Thanks to Chandra's X-ray sensitivity, scientists can determine not only what material components are left behind from the explosion, but also how much a particular material component spreads out with the explosion.
According to Chandra Teleskobu, oxygen was spread from Cassiopeia A to 10 thousand Earth masses of sulfur, 20 thousand Earth masses of silicon, 70 thousand Earth masses of iron, and 1 million Earth masses of oxygen.
