Just started out on Steemit Wanted to share a capture I did of Jupiter back in 2017, Was using a Celestron Nexstar 5SE telescope along with a Celestron NexImage 5 Planetary Imaging camera.
You can see one of Jupiter's Moons called ''lo'' passing in front of Jupiter in my capture.
How the capture works is by using a software called IC Capture or the included software for the NexImage 5 called iCap.
Depending on the seeing conditions for the night Exposure and Gain are needed to be adjusted, the Celestron NexImage 5 has a focal length of a 7mm eyepiece for some low end telescopes a 7mm eyepiece would be to high of a powered eyepiece which would make it blurry.
Locating and getting the object into focus requires a bit of work as well.
But in the end it's worth it!
If you would like to see more images I've done and will be doing feel free to comment.
