My First Silver coin find

Here is the video from a couple of weeks ago from a Metal Detecting Treasure hunt which led me to find my first Silver coins, my first Australian Commonwealth Pennies and first Half Pennies.

Finding Pre-decimals has been really hard for me untill i moved to NSW 6 months ago. I found more in 3 months of hunting than i had in 5 years. Now whether this is because of the upgrade to the Minelab X-Terra 505 from my Bounty Hunter Tracker IV, or that NSW has more older coins than WA, or my research and detecting skills has gotten a heap better is yet to be seen.

This area was an old picnic ground from the early 1900's but mainly active from the mid 40's through to the 70's

The silver sixpences i find are only 50% silver, but they are silver none the less!
