Out of curiosity this morning after watching a video that featured what is claimed to be a "10 second autism test" which went along the lines of the following:

Creativity or Cooperation

After getting an atypical ruling on my own test it lead me to seek further online testing on the matter to see how I ranked on things. Now I've never been diagnosed with any spectrum type thing so I found it quite interesting after taking the linger test and scoring quite high on it, indicative of potential autism. Now obviously online tests are no replacement for proper psychological testing by professionals but I certainly was taken back by the whole thing.. Still not entirely convinced I'm on the spectrum, although if I am, my ability to "mask" or "pretend to be normal" is certainly highly developed (or not, depending on who you ask).
Some say autism is the next step in human evolution, stating it's the move away from being a socially oriented species to a rational / logical type species.. As far as technology / computer sciences go some of the smartest guys I know are on the spectrum.. So it is actually potentially a massive advantage over neurotypicals in the IT age we live in.
