Released 8/11 with 8 episodes, Atypical features an 18 yr old boy on the spectrum. The creative team notes the character is one specific example of autism spectrum and not a generalization. This is important to realize because everyone on the spectrum has their own unique traits, skills, and challenges. My wife and I will check this out as our son is autism spectrum and there are not many shows focusing on the issue. The reviews have been generally positive so far so we'll cross our fingers. (-:
