I wanted something that was. ..
Reliable, Static, Super Simple with a Picture and Text
That would give me ..
an rss feed and an ability to randomly select a post and push that to my twitter feed every twenty four hours from lots of old (but relevant) courses
. .. of course, I decided to use the steem blockchain for it! :)
I bought myself a brand new steem account (you can use lots of methods to do this these days) over on @wetrainonline and started posting some of the courses as a picture and text and a link to the course.

blocktrades has steem account creation if you don’t have a steem account yet, you can pay with other crypto currency sources, they are super reasonable in cost.
Then due to esteem.app now supporting RSS feeds natively. ..
https://steempeak.com/esteem/@esteemapp/rss-feeds-added-into-esteem-website decided to use that as the destination for my posting service I use to push those automatically (I just give it my rss feed details)

They look like this — https://esteem.app/@wetrainonline/rss — just replace the name to get your feed, pretty cool huh? I think this is coming to steemit but it’s been three years and I got bored of waiting so I’m using esteem! (I have another way of extracting the RSS feed so this is a good backup service now as well!)
As this is a brand new steem account I had to make sure to give it a little steem as I was adding in posts — I’m using steem as a store of the text and images as blog posts but really I just want the blog posts as a series or feed of posts so I can use the rss to randomly pick a new post each day and push that to twitter — automagically promoting all my courses for me!
I check https://steemd.com/@wetrainonline after a few posts to make sure I’m not close to using up all my steem power on that account, if I am, I can either send myself more steem power and power up or wait a few days before posting a batch of posts again — you can also see the steem resource level at the bottom corner of the eSteemSurfer app!

Even 16 SP is enough for say about 5/10 posts if I’m doing a batch, as it’s picking a random blog post each day, I just keep on feeding it new posts every few days until they are all over — I’ve got about 50 courses to promote so at least half a few months of daily tweets to go out.
Just a little social media power promotion tip for you!
