Howdy folks and greetings from the Great Plains of North Texas!
With so many people on Steemit talking about the End coming, the collapse of society, and even a Zombie Apocalypse and the need to plan your escape route...well...I figured I better start looking for an escape vehicle.
I was thrilled to find a company that makes Doomsday campers right over there in Dacono, Colorado. They're called Earth Roamers and here's one of their models, the LTI:
Light but super tough
The entire body is made of carbon fiber so it's much stronger than conventional aluminum camper bodies. It's built on a massive Ford Super Duty chassis.
They're all hand-made to order so you can design your own interior.

This thing has a 100 gallon fresh water tank and a 65 gallon gray water tank. It's a diesel with a 95 gallon fuel tank.
It's got solar power too with panels on the roof that generate 1,320 watts of power and a 11,000 watt-hour lithium ion battery pack to run equipment on the inside.
It sleeps four but you also have the couch and over the cab bunk so you could squeeze six in there.
They do make a larger model also, the LTS:
The bad news
The price. They start at $590,000. lol.. What's amazing is that the price isn't stopping anyone. They have an 8 month waiting list! Jason Momoa bought one, I think it fits his personality.
I was really salivating over the LTI until I saw the price. I reckon I'll have to settle for the redneck version:
If you can find a junked earth mover that would work too. If you're headin out into the wilderness you gotta have the height for the zombies and Big Foot. lol.
