I do believe that we shape our now and future now by thinking: The reason why I think like this can be understood in quantum physics. Basicly I want to say that we as an observer create reality, because an atom can be anywhere untill you observe it. Then it's place gets determined. To get a better understanding what I mean you can google on schrodinger's cat. But to be honest you need to read into quantum physics.
So I came across a video that probably will blow your mind. That can make you think and alter your view. That pieces fall in their place.
