Today I want to show you another tourist place of Ayodhya.This place is called Saryu river, it is very big.We have to go a short distance from Ram ki Pedi to go to the banks of river Saryu.
There was a lot of crowd on the way, and there were many shops selling food and decorations. We saw a monkey family crossing the road.
Now we have reached the Saryu river, you can see how crowded it is here.
By the way, there is always such a crowd here, we consider the river Sarayu to be very holy,and people also come to take a bath.
But when there is a special festival, it is very crowded because people believe that bathing in the river Sarayu will give them salvation.We also saw many people taking a bath on it.
On this some people were also selling food items which also had gram and namkeen.
A dam is also built over the Saryu river. There was a lot of crowd under the dam.
There are also many bortas to roam in the Saryu river, which you can see is standing on the banks.
There was also a small Shivling on the shore. Shivling is considered very revered in us, we consider it a symbol of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is one of our three main deities.
