Trust Exchange (www.trustexchange.com) is a peer to peer business information exchange. Currently we have customers in banking, pharma, public safety and green construction. The company was founded by @edsull (aka @baltai ) in 2015 to help solve a few key problems he noticed in the business of compliance.
On the Trust Exchange Platform, organizations can create their own network (think facebbok, meets LinkedIn), invite participants and create a way for the to collaborate on the platform. The most popular use for this at the moment is regulatory compliance. For example, Banks in the USA have to monitor all of their customers, vendors and partners by law and tracking all of these transactions and interactions is very cumbersome and labor intensive. With Trust Exchange, they can create a compliance network, create the data exchange rules and automate the collection and verification of information.
As you can imagine, this application would lend it self well to being implemented on a blockchain but most chains are expensive and lack scale. Via @baltai 's exposure to @splinterlands, he saw the @hive light.
