#1014 - Monochrome Street Scenes for Friday.
Happy feather light Friday dearest Hiveans! We did it! Can you feel that? It’s the gentle exhale of a week well lived😉. Today isn’t about rushing but it’s about floating into the finish line of this work week. Whether you’re finishing up tasks, sharing thank you or daydreaming of weekend to dos and posts here, you’ve already filled our Hive with good things.💪
Now for our first monochrome shot by one of the roadsides in Baguio City showing a scene under the midday sun where the warmth of the sky meets the cool Cordilleran air. Despite the bright and clear weather, these and many other people walking the streets were wrapped in sweaters that serve as a shield against the city's persistent chilled air, a reminder that Baguio's weather is as unpredictable. The scene is a testament to the city's unique climate and of its people who love to embrace the cool air.
Next a scene somewhere in the park where a lively scene of a male balloon vendor engages in a cheerful conversation with another man, probably a tourist or his friend. The vendor holds with his left hand a monochrome display of designed balloons, he holds onto their strings with a gentle grip ensuring that floating balloons don't go off flying. The two men had their shares of laughter while the park was also busy.
In one corner of the park was a young man that sits alone on a concrete bench. Beside him were a bag and an eco-bag on his right side. His eyes were fixed on the distant horizon while having a moment of contemplation and lost in deep thought. The park seems to pause, like a moment of solitude while the world's continue to dance.
Lastly a scene by a busy roadside where the stream of people flows like a river with each person lost in their own path. Amidst the sea of people was an old man with his hand extended in a plea for alms or donations of small amount. Him standing there is a request for kindness to anyone passing by in a world that often moves too quickly to notice him there. Some passersby with their umbrellas walk past him without a glance. The old man and many other beggars of this city often go unnoticed amidst the chaos of life.
