The Spanish Football Federation, RFEF, confirmed the number of match ban for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid star was sentenced to a match ban in five local matches.
The punishment is the result of Ronaldo's treatment of the referee in a game against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday (13/8/2017) or Monday morning at Western Camp Nou. In the first leg match, Ronaldo got two yellow cards that led to a red card.
The former Manchester United winger receives the first yellow card for his excessive celebrity. He opened the uniform after breaking into Barca's goal in the 80th minute, to make Los Blancos a 2-1 lead.
