After my opening set in April of 2008, I was sitting in the green room with Lorin (Bassnectar) before he went on stage. At the time, he was my favorite artist and I really believed that he was going to do something with music that no one else had ever done. His music at that time consisted of great crescendos building up to environmental, political, and spiritual speeches in the middle of his performances. He added this human touch to a sub bass line that could be felt in your soul. I felt he was on to something and I was honored to open on the stage before him. I pulled out my camera and did the short interview with him. I asked him "what his future with music would be."

It was neat to see his plans come to fruition, now that he's the one of the biggest performing artists on the planet.
