Batman is the man! No doubt about it! Bruce Wayne, the playboy billionaire businessman that lives a noble honest life by day and by night, beats the living crap out of criminals while wearing a bat costume with a shit load of spiffy gadgets is considered to be a superhero by many, when in all actuality he is not one!
Batman is a detective! Superheros have super powers, Batman has no super powers what so ever. In other versions in the DC universe Batman does hone super powers, but that is not the Dark Knight we all know and love. The one we know is the witty and smart vigilante that vowed to stand for justice since the murder of his parents as a child. With the advantage of having money and a technology business empire, he has the resources to be above the average person.
I am not downing Batman! I am just clearing something up that many think and say he is! Can he beat Superman? On a one on one, hell no! But with his knowledge, brilliance and strategies, he can best Superman, and he has! He is a major asset to the DC universe and when it comes to comics, he is a legend, if not, the poster boy. Just wanted to clear this up with everyone, especially the newbies and uninformed.
