My laptop which having problem auto shutdown quite a bit finally refused to start.
I checked out a youtube video and figure out how to open up the laptop. Then I ripped out the hard disk.

我的手提电脑有问题有一段日子了。自动关机很多次。最后还拒绝启动。上网到youtube 找到个视频学会了如何从底面拆开电脑。然后我拔掉了硬盘。

A trip to Sim Lim Square and speak to friendly guy who help to unscrew the last screw on the hard disk which I could not take out. Then bought a hard disk enclosure and he showed how simple to popped it in. No screws needed. Back at home, tested it and all data is there. So, good $25 spent saving a lot of time restoring from backups.

去了一趟森林商业中找位友好的店员帮助，拧下在硬盘上我搞不定的螺钉。然后买了硬盘外壳。他还很快的帮我装好。没需要上螺丝。回到家，查看所有测试数据是在。$25 花的好。省了很多时间不用找从备份来还原。

So, goodbye to the not so trusted HP Split X2. Time to get another one. Definitely not a HP anymore since I know they closed their service centre in Singapore.

所以，跟这不可依靠的电脑道再见了。是时后找新欢。绝对不是 HP 牌子了，因为我知道他们关闭在新加坡的服务中心。

Good thing is there were two tech shows in Singapore starting Thursday through this weekend. I spent time looking for bargains gathering brochure and went back the next day and saw this. Savings of at least $100 from the day before. That's good.

还好在新加坡从星期四到周末用兩個科技展。我花时间找便宜，收集很多传单。隔天回去看见这。前一天至少$100。好极了。

Another good thing about tech shows is there are more freebies. They were giving mouse, wireless speaker, antivirus and USB drive. I had no use for the speaker and traded it for a few more USB drives though not of very high capacity, I was hoping to get Linux running on it.
