Today is a happy day for Thailand it will go down in the history books after 2 months finally people are seen more happy and excited humans walking around..WOW.. many businesses including all the major super malls were opened to the public today so there will be lots of shopping going on today but , i decide not to mingle in with the crowds just yet and presumed it would be a crazy day in the malls today and people letting there guard down so my decision was to enjoy a stroll in the park relaxing and breathing in safe fresh air.

A beautiful sunny morning in Bangkok after a filling breakfast checked my computer did a bit of washing in my hotel lobby by then it was early afternoon so geared myself up and walked to the nearest train station and made my way to Chatuchak Park.

Arriving at the Chatuchak Park today i decided to enter the park from the other end why because i was here 2 weeks ago and have seen the other half of the park but not this other half from where i am entering from today and when i was entering the park today from this other end i actually thought that i was going back in time it looked like the old remains of the Roman Empire City was really fascinating to see this.

Definitely looked impressive apparently this domain was used for out door concerts and theatrical acting but not just left to the public to admire.

Well that was really a sight to see and it was still be taken care of very well , wondering away from the old Roman Empire i come to a lovely pond with some Koi fish swimming around in this pond and you will see a couple other beautiful ponds like this around the park all so neatly looked after.

There was no escaping from the cute little Squirrels they were still been friendly and not shy coming up for some food.

Even the Monitor Lizards were been friendly enough to ask for some food !!

Been spring season over here in Thailand we are getting to see many lovely flowers blooming out in beautiful colors.

Don't we all love the feel of that spring air it is definitely my favorite season of the year not to hot not to cold and a beautiful colorful time of the year.

I just couldn't get enough of this amazing park everywhere , i looked was beautiful manicured gardens , flowers not seen before and friendly wildlife surrounding you really credit these people for doing just a amazing job keeping this park in such good order very good marketing for tourist.

These beautiful pink painted bridges around the park just all seemed to be built in the right spots to observe the long stretching views across the park and very handy for great photos.

And here is my favorite photo of the day this really blow me out , i almost walked under this fella who would dream of or think of a Monitor Lizard to be taking a nap in a tree and well camouflaged at that , really don't know what sparked me of to see this Monitor Lizard having a snooze in this tree , i was stunned as much as he was and he didn't like the idea of me waking him up or taking photos of him , he certainly had his eye on me in case , i moved closer he wasn't a happy chap luckily for the zoom on my camera.

Well this was a real adventure strolling through Chatuchak Park today quite a bit of excitement certainly beat strolling through a shopping mall :)
