Not using tech 1 hour before sleep helped me stay drowsy until my bedtime, in contrast with the old times when I'd be awake while lying in bed, tossing and turning, for about an hour before drifting off.
I've finally found the apps that I'm gonna stick to for a long time to come
For journaling — Grid Diary
For goals — Higher Goals
Both of these are exactly what I've wanted.
I'll be keeping the diary to improve my observation & memory: about myself & others.
Starting small & starting slow
Starting tomorrow, I'm putting to practice the above-mentioned idea. I used to think habits were bad, but I've learnt that what works is what works.
I've set up 3 goals in that app - learning Japanese, reading my university books and getting up at 4 am.
Initially I thought I'd keep this Becoming Better series about only the getting up early goal. I didn't wanna go too fast & fall outta control. But some stuff I read today encouraged me to move a little faster.
Hope the addition of 2 more goals turns out fine.
