Cows are holy in India.
That's why I can't have a Big Mac or a double Whopper in India!
Well. Don't expect beef at your Indian McD/BK or what ever.
But it's not because cows are holy.
Cows are respected and revered in India - but not holy.
The reason is that they represent so much of Hinduism. They are kind, giving and peaceful.
