Steak and Beer goes well together
The Beer
This nice beer had a long holiday in my fridge as a light beer taste better whenever it is warm outside. I got this in December from the great Steemian @Limesoda for the Xmas Wichteln we did within the German speaking Steem Community.
The first of the two Otterkringer went into the cook during preparation. This light and refreshing beer is perfect for this.

The Steak
As we had a holiday in Egypt for some 10 days, the food was different and we decided to have a great family meal.
The is a special cut of beef in Belgium called “Cote a l’os” wich is something like a entrecôte with bones.
The local butcher had a great cut with 1.1kg (39 oz or 2.4 pound) and we got it quickly into our shopping.
I added a nice and self made marinade from Olive oil, chilly and a lot of garlic and some herbs. The steak spend 2 hours in this marinade at room temperature before it went to my hot BBQ
Heavy heat for a short time
The steak got only a minute from each side twice before it went into the ofen for 15 minutes on just 100 degree celsius.
The second bottle
A cook at the BBQ need always some liquid and the second Otterkringer was just perfect for this.

The dinner was perfect
The beef was a dream and the family was more than happy with the work of the cook. The Beer was a refreshing helper.
