Good day fellow Steemians
It is that time of the year again where people come together to celebrate. For some this also implies giving gifts to each other. This is the case in my family and yesterday I received something that I thought would be fun to share.
Some might know that I'm from Belgium, a country that is rather infamous for its bad solutions. Whether it being politics, urban planning or just everyday life, we tend to have solutions that do not always fix the issue. I'm not sure why, but nevertheless do I think that it is sometimes charming. The German artist/writer/a bit of everything who lives in Brussels, David Helbich, decided to capture this and turn it into a book. That is exactly what I got as a present, a book with 301 pictures of typical Belgian solutions!
Our stereotypical way of solving problems has also become content of some great jokes such as this one about the international guidelines for problem solving:
Here are some great entries from the book, but if you want to see more, or even the photo's from his second book, you can take a look at his website: http://www.belgian-solutions.be/photo-gallery/ I immediately had to thing about you, @Pixelfan. Maybe you find this interesting? :D
