It is probably wise to talk to older people as much as you can. I know for certain that you cannot be young, and wise! Of course you can be young and intelligent, but I have many segments of intelligence that I identify. Young smart person can be intelligent in certain aspects of life, but being WISE about life is different in my eyes.
The value of life, the priorities of life, the meaning of life, how to pass the time, how much time is worth, there are so many questions that don't require immediate answers when you're younger, but to live a truly fulfilling life it's important to tackle these questions and find self awareness.
Older people have the experience and have made decisions in life that they've lived out those consequences and what ultimately will satisfy you in life. As long as you're alive, I think that this questioning and seeking for betterment is ongoing. And in a way, this is how you can stay youthful, even as you age. Knowing that there are always more potential to discover, and grow.
