Steemit is an amazing place, to grow and retain more users it needs to get it's act together regarding bid-bots. Some people loath them, some people love them. I think they need to not rob unsuspecting Steemit users.

A lot of new users can not make cash here straight away, some look into trying out the bid bots, most will feel robbed because of the following reasons.

The ROI statistics on steembottracker.com are incorrect (ROI means return on investment, not return on SBD)
The visual rewards per post on Steemit is not accurate to what you think you will receive (I know there is a calculation, blah blah blah, but most new & even old Steemit users do not know exactly how it works!)

One way to address these hiccups is to promote the bid bots that have a positive ROI, by doing this new bid bot users will not feel frustrated when they discover their actual ROI at +7days.

Fortunately there are some bid bot owners that have seen the light and are actually helping minnows and new Steemians, the updated list below contains the good guys ;-)

Using these positive ROI bid bots does not guarantee that you will break even or make a profit, you can still make a loss. However using these as opposed to the naughty bots does give you the best chance!

Profit/Loss is not entirely dependent on the bid bots capping losses, it also depends on luck, the steem price, the sbd price & the fluctuation in the vote value of your post at +7 days.
