Bidbots aren't usually my thing, I tend to stay clear of them but recently, I was compelled to try @booster because of fyrst's words. I spend 9 STEEM and lost most of it (yay) but thats not the point. I'm here to talk about @bid.bot. And yeah, I'll be bidbotting this post with @bid.bot.

I encountered @bid.bot a short time ago, liked the buy downvotes part, forgot about them, but they came back into my eye again about two days ago. They had just launched a new website and I checked it out. It was very clean. I read up some more on them, and the magic credit part enticed me. Get free credit to promote your post in the future plus get part of the liquid earnings. So I delegated 50 STEEMPOWER over to them and got my first payment a little while ago today. I got 0.021 magic credits and once that reaches 1, I can use it to buy votes on my post. I also spent 1 STEEM to buy credits so I can get this post voted to check them out. If not for magic credits, I would never have gone anywhere near them.
They are also whitelist only. There are multiple ways to get whitelisted, be 65+ rep(which I'm not), get voted by one of a few accounts which are trusted(utopian is part of that and I've been voted by utopian in the past so I should have been whitelisted). You can also get blacklisted(using pre-made blacklists from other services) to not get votes. I really like this approach so it ensures that new users can't just "rape" the rewards pool. While I think that the 65+ rep part can easily be bought so should be changed to be either higher or removed and only have the whitelist from trusted services, this is new and is still better than what most other bots allow for.
They have also attempted to disallow "shitposts" from getting voted on with a minimum of 1,000 characters for a post to get voted. I found this out while trying it out with a post that had 700 characters. This is good, but can easily be fooled by just typing in gibberish, like this: abcdefghijklmnopqurstuvxyz. Thats 26 characters. Copy paste a few times and you have 1,000 characters. But with their other requirements, I don't this that this bot will be one of the easier ones to abuse.
Recently they started a service where they will proxy your bid to other bots if its not profitable with just them. While this seems good, I it might end up costing them delegators as placing the other bids will require some funds and delegators won't receive them. But this might end up with them getting more users(bidders) thus resulting the delegators to follow.
I'll send for a upvote on this post from the bot and respond with how it goes. Hopefully I make back what I put in.
