A type of hormone is released from the thyroid gland, which affects the different parts of our body. It is clearly understood that weight loss of thyroid patients due to thyroid hyperactivity decreases. On the other hand thy body's weight may increase due to lower thyroid activity.
The parathyroid gland is called such a name because this gland remains on the right side of the thyroid gland. But the thyroid gland is not very similar to parathyroid gland with the work. One type of hormone is released from para thyroid gland which regulates the amount of calcium in the blood.
The hormones released from the thyroid capacity of the brain are largely influenced by two different ways. First, if a person suffers from hypothyroidism for lower functioning of thyroid gland, then his mental disorder can occur. The probable reason for this is that due to the low capacity of thyroid, there is a shortage of protein and energy needed for the development of the brain. The disease is known as 'charismatic' and its treatment is not known yet. This disease is mainly due to iodine deficiency. As iodine is mixed with various food and salt, this disease is not seen anymore, it is rarely seen.
Secondly, if a person suffers from severe hypothyroidism, then his mental activity decreases. As early as its symptoms, frustration and indifference arise, and subsequently gradually decreasing the thinking ability. If thyroid droplets are very low, the patient often goes back to the quaterice and becomes unconscious. This type of humor is called Miksedema coma. This can lead to loss of life. Although it is possible to treat thyroid through the body, it is possible to treat it.
If there is a lack of hormones released from the thyroid, mental disabilities in childhood and decreasing mental activity in old age can be both.Cells that are in the immune system in our body, they produce a class protein called antibody. This antibody stuck on the body of harmful bacteria and viruses entering our body. As a result of this, magnesium can recognize these harmful germs and destroy them. But sometimes there are some antibodies in the body which can be stuck on healthy cells. As a result, hemolytic cells begin to destroy healthy body cells. We call this type of disease 'auto immune disease', because in this case our body's immune system is attacking our body. There are two types of antibodies that attack the thyroid gland cells. These are 'anti-TP and antibodies' and 'thyrotropin receptor antibodies'. The first is damaged by the thyroid gland, which results in 'hypothyroidism'. The second is associated with the thyroid stimuli gland and extra thyroid is released. Hyperthyroidism is called as 'Grave's Disease'.
Hypothyroidism has been successful and this treatment has remained unchanged for a long time. Thyroid hormone pills are used as a remedy for thyroid hormone deficiency in this method. The name of this medicine is 'levothyroxine' which was first created in 1927 in the laboratory.
But hyperthyroidism is not so easy. Although some drugs have been discovered to reduce thyroid fluid, but most of these medicines are not effective. Therefore, hyperthyroidism is usually done with the help of radioactive iodine to damage the thyroid gland, which can be easily adapted with levothyroxine.
In the last ten years, a new type of medicine has been made. This is called monoclonal antibody. These artificial antibodies are made in such a way that they can prevent them in certain parts of the body. These antibodies are injected into the blood through injecting and then they get stuck in that particular part of the body. Then our disease-prevention system destroys the cells of that particular region. That is to say, in this way we can order the body's immune system to destroy cells or proteins. There are several medicines that can destroy our body-immune cells or proteins. Due to the use of these medicines, the performance of some parts of the disease-prevention system reduces, which helps people with 'auto immun' disease. These medicines have been very successful in curing a particular arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis) and some 'auto immune' diseases. In order to treat thyroid gland's 'auto immune' disease, especially in the treatment of grave disease, efforts are on to make such medicines.
