Welcome back, thanks for reading and following my blog. A few days ago I posted on getting birdhouses ready in my yard. A few days ago we noticed the bluebirds are back. We are hoping they will nest in one of our 10 houses.
We have had bluebirds in the past, but not every year do they nest in our yard. I have already seen barn swallows moving in to several of the birdhouses.
The last few days the male bluebird has been flying into our kitchen window, which is typical mating season behavior. I think they view their reflection as a threat.
So I will keep you posted on the bluebirds and other bird nesting activity in our yard.
