2017 was the year that cryptocurrency's like Bitcoin and Ethereum really broke out into the mainstream.
There was excitement and hype and a lot of speculation to the future.
But so far 2018 is just been market with Fear and Concern. And speculation that the bubble is going to pop.
There are several major factors contributing to this crash of bitcoin.
Number 1 is the fear of regulations By governments such as China and South-Korea! And the fear of banning these Crypto exchanges. And if investors can't buy them what is it really worth anyways.
A other major factor that is contributing to this crash are the hacks and scams that we have seen recently , there have been several major thefts of millions of dollars. That really has scared a lot of investors.
It's not really an surprise to see such a big crash in bitcoin . For months people have been talking about bitcoin crash , bitcoin is a bubble when is the bubble going to pop. Also a lot of people are saying this is the correction that we were waiting for.
But in order to get the crypto-market to get back up. We need to see a lot more confidence from inverters.
that these new digital assets are actually going to exists in the future. That their need to be company's and governments more accepting that this is a new a reality a new type of currency to use.
So Ironically what can make cryptocurrency more stable, is to actually become currency's. Right now when there prices rise and fall so dramatically, there impossible to use as actual currency's and need to be adopted on wide scale across the world. And for people to really see this is a mainstream trend.
My advice would be to HODL. And wait until the market readjust. And invest into Proof of stake (PoS)
