Today when i was break from my work and search topic for write on steemit i came up with something and i wonder if one of you know the answer couse i try to think about it and want to share it. So here's the case:
- What happen to lost bitcoin ?
Like if in the past someone has a lot of bitcoin when it's in the low price and now the orwer was died or lost his wallet key, what will happen to those coin ? - Will impact the volume or total supply of the bitcoin or the volume or supply not change at all?
- How much bitcoin has been lost until now.?
My though is lost bitcoin will remind lost and naver be found and the volume or tottal supply will stay the same as how much release coin is. But im still not sure about all of this. Because i wonder if someday someone hack the data base and wipe out all the key and change it so it will never be match even the owner put the right key to their wallet, what will happen. Can you emagine it when you has so much bitcoin in invested and suddenly it just happen right before you wanted to take them to withdraw..
